States already get money from custom plates, so probably the same place.

That's a terrible idea, I would never put that on my car. Also, where does it get the power? I don't want anything from the DMV wired into my car's electrical system.

other way around but sure what ever... The plate is being displayed at all times unless you're stopped for 4 seconds or more.

They just started using cameras around here but now people are trying to stop on yellow to avoid a possible camera event and those behind are not expecting the hard brake on a just-turned-yellow so the result is a rash or rear-ender's..
