Of course. I can only imagine the kind of wet-mouthed sub-human filth that can get away without wetting the brush beforehand.

Absolutely, though I do remember a dentist once telling me not to.
Looking it up now I found this so now maybe we're doing it wrong.. (last sentence first column)

Before and after for me.

Before so the toothpaste doesn't stick too much to the brush and after to get a little more water for more foam.

Before and after.
I always wash the toothbrush before and then wet the toothpaste once it is on.

I do both also.

Before to clear away anything that might be on it and after to wet the toothpaste a bit.

I wets it before only.

Anyone else have to have the water running while brushing? What a waste, yet an unbreakable lifelong habit.
