I'm just complaining, I bet MS will come out with a patch eventually.

Keego,

You wouldn't happen to be having this issue with Gamespot.com would you? I've been having a problem with that website in particular for weeks now. No other sites seem to have the same problem.

Did you install Kazaa Lite or something like that? If so, check your hosts file... Kazaa Lite assigns about
80 ad-serving sites to 127.0.0.1 (local machine) which in turn results in 60-80% of the banner ads across
the Internet disappearing. If you're missing half the images on Gamespot.com you need to remove
"http://image.com.com/" from your hosts list.

hmmmmmmmm,

I have DAP
If some images won't even download if you right-click and select "Show Picture," it's definitely the fault of DAP.

I have this problem too. it seems to only happen to small images (under 1KB) like the paper icons to the left of the threads on AT forums.

It's a pretty well-known thing but MS hasn't done anything to address it. Part of the reason is that nobody has found the common thread. Most people are not affected by it and those that are don't seem to have any one thing in common other than using IE6.
