This heatsink review can only be considered comedy...

LOL I read that this morning and thought the same thing. Doesn't he realize those are made of rubber and just how bad a thermal conductor rubber is, and can you say overkill with the AS.

I'd add some AS to the top of those heatsink mounts, too. That has to be good for a 4C drop at least. 😛

Why not between the heatsink and the fan?😀 (That would make as much sense as putting it on the rubber cpu grommets)

If he sticks AS on rubber pads.... perhaps he will have a brainwave.

If AMD use rubber to transfer heat away from their CPU's... why arent heatsinks made of rubber? Makes perfect sense to me 😱

I'm with smahoney ... directly applying AS to the core and spreading with a scapel - ouch!

I don't want to dump on anyone (we can all make mistakes), but why link to the arctic silver instruction page if you aren't going to follow them?

Hey man, the link to the AS page was the only intelligent thing in the entire article!

This guy needs a severe beating with a cluebat.
Haha, I've got one, if you'll administer the beating. My parole officer says I can't administer any more beatings.😀

I think he misread Arctic Silver's guide on applying thermal paste 😀

Check this out here

Notice the 4 pads are similar color to the AS5 paste, thus he mistakenly believed that it was actually thermal paste that belonged on those 4 pads.

What a joke... I guess he never seen a celery before.

Further proof any idiot can and usually does have their own hardware review site </automated response>
