You know, now that I think of it, why has there never been a reunion show for The Wonder Years? It seems to me, that at the time, it was a pretty seminal show that A LOT of people now hold very near and dear.

** Of note, Fred Savage came to a bunch of my friends' parties in college in Madison. On one occassion he was so blitz he pissed in the my friends closet all over his stuff then passed out on the floor next to it.

Love this show! Where do you guys watch it? No channel that I have plays it anymore, and there are no DVD's (and likely won't be).

Unlike most long-running popular American TV sitcoms, The Wonder Years has still not yet been released on DVD as official season box sets due to the high cost of securing the music rights.[7] Because of this, The Wonder Years routinely appears high on the list of TV shows in-demand for a DVD release, along with Cold Case and Family Matters. Some episodes of the series were included in two official "best-of" DVD sets, namely "The Best of The Wonder Years" and "The Christmas Wonder Years", without the original music. Anchor Bay did release two volumes (four episodes total) on VHS in 1998.

I did not know this. This sucks. F-you musucians.

hahahah....that's exactly what I was thinking when I was watching the OP's clip. For some reason, that's like the one thing I'll never forget about The Wonder Years.

Yeah same for me. For some reason it's the only scene I can remember from the show, not that I seen the episodes over and over like Seinfeld re-runs but I'm willing to bet I've caught most of them.

What's funny is I made a comment about the scene on Digg 2 days ago as well.

Really? I think of the Wonder Years episode where Kevin has to replace a ring Wendy gave him, but the engraver misread his name on paper as Kevin 'Amold' (see comment)

Of course I misremembered at the time that it was really a braclet but oh well. Then I saw the Family Guy episode with Fred Savage in it the other night too. Freaky.
