I'm not fully convinced of his mega nerd status... his web site isn't running the latest available build of Apache!

Uh. This guy is a peon.

I have three different network topologies in my house.
So do I.

I have a few 33.6 dialups into my network so I'm never out of touch with my machines.
I have a 56k dialup into my network.

I have more CD-ROMs than music CDs.
Doesn't everyone?

I'm Mensa number 1130570.
Hooray? Any tard can join mensa.

I have a 7' tall industrial equipment rack in my house.
So do lots of people. It's on my to-do list.

I have 11,000VA of uninterruptable backup power in my house.
I admin one of these: http://www.apc.com/resource/in...e_sku=SYP12K12RMT%2DP2
I'm not sure why we have it though, because there's a diesel generator that kicks in on a 10v volt sag.

An index of my computers is available via a web database.
A quick glance at that page reveals that this guy is not a nerd, but a packrat. He owns TWO x86 machines, one of which is Win2k, one is Win98. He owns TWO macs running anything newer than System 7.1. SYSTEM 7.5.6 IS FREE AND WILL RUN ON ALL HIS 7.1 SYSTEMS!

My nick is the 377th most commonly said word on EFnet IRC Channel #Macintosh.
My nick is the 54th most commonly said word on EFnet IRC Channel #athlon64

I'm the 115th most vocal person on EFnet IRC channel #Macintosh.
I'm the 8th most vocal person on EFnet IRC channel #athlon64

Four words: Radio Shack Gold Card.
NO! NO! NO NO NONONO! NERDS DON'T SHOP AT THE SHACK UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY! $5 for a resistor my nutsack

Above is conclusive proof that this is a poser.

So what your saying is, you want to have mega nerd status (if you don't already)?

Wow, this guy is just a loser. Does he really think the fact that he is a techy wannabe makes him cool? Not only that, but he's a lame example of someone who is involved in technology. You end your daily routine by turning off your lights through IRC? I wouldn't say that is nerdy, I would say that's just stupid. Get off your lazy ass and turn the damned things off yourself. I can match or exceed almost everything he has on that list, and I wouldn't consider myself to be proud of it - certainly wouldn't consider myself cool because of it.

What a loser...

Maybe while chatting one day he accidentally typed x10 -house 1 -goboomboom destruct.

Or the wireless connection to the Colorado atomic clock keeping his pacemaker ticking was getting interference from all of the frequency noise in his house and he suffered an ultra-l33t heart attack.

That's fun... lets all make up different ways for this nerd to die.
