Sure don't and have been wanting to play both Call of Duty 5 and Mirror's Edge... Farcry 2... well maybe I can get $10 for that. :)

Something that concerns me is that XFX's site says this is a 192 SP unit where the Egg says 216. Also, how can i tell if it's 55nm?

That is the 192
I just looked on xfx's site right now for "ADJF"

so they, like many others, are trying to get rid of these 192's with deep price cuts

Although some of the people reviewing the card on newegg's site are saying they got a 55nm 216 ...
so that would mean they have the wrong model number and/or they are shipping whatever happens to be laying around ...

best option would be to call/e-mail newegg to confirm the exact model # before purchase.

NewEgg is more likely to make mistakes. I remember years ago ordering a Radeon 9600 advertised as 400/600 and it was actually a 400/400. Bastards.

Does anyone bother to read anymore?

It's a 55nm Core 216.

From the customer reviews (read it before you bitch "It's a CUSTOMER review"):

Pros: Read cons

Cons: I went to find info on this model and this is the value series that they annouced this month. the Core series.

This card is SP192, I had to get the info off XFX site in russian since their usa site doesnt list it.

Manufacturer Response:The GPU used on this card is the 55nm, 216 SP version. Please feel free to ask our technical support at xfxforce.com any questions that you have. Thank you.

If it's the 216 shaders model, then this is a once in a lifetime deal. :)

Wow, that's a completely killer deal. I don't think there will be any (big) price drops anytime soon and the included stuff is great.

No backplate = 55nm with 216 cores. Note: "Core 216" is a marketing name by some manufacturers and is not what NVIDIA calls them.

I have been really tempted lately to upgrade my 8800GT. Will this card run 1920 x 1200 for COD World at War and all graphics settings maxed out?

Nvidia just calls them the GTX260, right? It would have been nice if they just named them the GTX265 or GTX270 to avoid this type of confusion.

The card itself can be had cheaper using stackable Dell coupons on this card, but tax probably kills it for everyone and you can't hope to get the card and the games lower than the egg price.

Looks like the egg deal is dead for the games though?

I would go for it, that's an excellent deal for an excellent card and you get 3 games with it.

It's in my shopping cart now... Don't know to get this or an HD4890. My HD4830 is fine, but I need another video card for the house. This is a great deal...

Edit: I almost got this, but the HD4890 at ZZF for $179 after rebate (and $199 before rebate) with 2 free games is just a better deal. So I went for the HD4890.

I haven't bought a green card in a while, and was looking forward to getting one this time. It seems every time I'm ready to buy a video card, there's always a better deal on an ATI card...

This is the card I bought:

Right. They did this to follow their "rule" of cards that can SLI together needing to be the "same product."

Well I bit.

NewEgg bundles Call of Duty 5, Farcry 2 and 3DMark are in the box and Mirror's Edge is available as a download option.

I just purchased a GTX 260 a couple days ago and all I can say is wow!! The image quality is much better than my 9800 gtx. Now i can play all my games maxed out on my 1920X1080 LCD... Great purchase and there so cheap now.
