actually, a better method is to "juggle" it near one of the sides to minimize mouse movement for more control. easier said than done though.

This was actually posted a while ago. My high score is around 220. If you can get it going exactly vertical, don't move your mouse and just click. It will just go directly up and down.

if you have a mouse that has a wheel and can set it so it double clicks it will count twice if you use that button
