This forums is seriously flawed

I realise that this in itself is a bad post...

Already this forum is full of technical support queries. Within a month or two it'll be general hardware all over again. It needs to be much more strictly moderated (some form of punishment maybe instead of just removing the posts?)

Also putting it at the bottom of the list of forums instead of the top might help.

And lose the announcement in General Hardware. It basically says "all the clever people are in highly Technical - go ask them"

just my thoughts...

I have a problem with this sort of reasoning. Its bad enough the message comes across as "moderators here aren't doing their job", but you also propose punishment to members for being curious? How elitist. 😎

Let Highly Technical stand on its own two feet. If you have a problem then just pm the moderators; they are always helpful. Have you had a problem with anyone in particular? Have you disliked any particular topic? Have you asked the moderators to simply move any particular non-"Highly Technical" thread yet? Take the iniative to discuss with the moderators before you openly criticize these poor guys and gals.

Seb, I'm with Madrat.

It's inevitable that something new will have unsuitable stuff for a few days.

I'm sure that if the moderators persist in deleting/moving unsuitable posts that any serial mis-uers will tire of posting in this forum, not that there's been that much mis-posting anyhow.

Although some posts may be simple, I hardly think the posters are dumb enough to be put off by moving the link down the page????

Each forum has it's role, and in time this one will bed down!

Shouldn't this thread be in "Forum Issues"??!! - You see, it's just not that cut and dry.

Take it easy

Hullboy.
