Holy shit...I still remember how to get to the warp area in the second stage.

Ride the elevator going up and jump on the ceiling and run to the right for 3 tubes to warp to different levels.

seems to be the real site.
its easier once i broke out the gamepad. esp since joytopad has autofire
autofire+spread fire for contra dude wipes everything out. but if you lose it the mega man does better since he has better hang time in his jump and doens't have to crouch to hit low enemies. warped to 4 then 8, than gave up, those annoying jump to one block width columns are just not worth the pain. i hate that bs.
