Wow...that is some good stuff...the action must be super low on that guitar and the strings are probably light....I now have something to work on....someday.:Q
 
Two things. One, I will NEVER spout repost without linking to the original topic, like so many fvckheads around here. Two, I took it as a challenge when the OP said, "...there are to many hits when i search guitar." Wasn't difficult at all. As if you really cared in the first place.

I think he's using an alternate tuning or is tuned way down because of the string slack and the low tone he's getting. He's got that "thumb slap" down pat, so I'm thinking he was probably a bass player at one time. Nice technique though!

You certainly don't need to be a bass player at some point to play slap.
