That looks expensive. Nice gesture by the driver!

Siskel/Ebert two thumbs up:p
Did anything break in that last one? If I didn't know any better, I'd say it almost looks like it's supposed to do that.
The machine articulates left/right, and it has a swashplate in the same plane that allows the bed to roll like that to keep the tires on the ground in extreme terrain. It also allows the bed to flop over without taking the cab over too;)
That one broke a couple of hydraulic lines, unfortunately. Initially, we just grab the bed and flop it back over.

ROFL...I've driven the Cat and Volvo articulating haul trucks before...and it doesn't take much for those beds to flop...just a bit too much side-slope and they're over. Happily, I never flopped one, but we had one operator who couldn't seem to keep the dammed thing upright...but then again, we were in some awkward spots from time to time. It was a haz-mat job in Union City...Love Canal West we called it...the site was heavily polluted...we cleaned it up  and they built a bunch of $500k houses on it...

Yes but after that kind of rough treatment wouldn't both the motor and transmission be destroyed and worthless??

Does UPS ship replacements? ;)

Our safety guy at work showed us some pictures he had taken the of a guy that was killed the day before when he was unloading a new bulldozer.

They were unloading it off of a low boy trailer and had to use cribbing to do so. The roll over cage was not install since it was new. It flipped over backwards and rolled all the way over.

His bloody head was literally smashed into the dirt.
