I suppose as long as the machine is maintained properly, and the operator isn't an idiot, it wouldn't be too risky.

...haha.

How much did they have to drink?

Looks kind of like the Scrambler at the fair!

P.S. Rubycon, in this vain you should attempt to get a roller coaster built on a ship. :D

I'd feel safer if it were operated by a true carnival professional.

With no more than 6 natural teeth.

LMAO total redneck carnival ride right there. That is awesome.

Looks safer then the real rides I've seen. I lost my faith in the people who assemble those, when I noticed the instructions on a ride, said something to the extent "Turn bolt until it is tight". uhhh really? Isin't that common sense?

What scares me the most is when there's a bunch of spare parts on the ground behind the ride. They are only noticable from on top of THAT ride. :p

I'd certainly do it with a Japanese hoe... but I'd have to think about it if it's a Korean hoe.

not terribly safe should there be a hydraulic issue, which could happen to any machine at any time. Lack of safety restraints, etc. Worth a chuckle, but hopefully people don't try it at home and get someone hurt.

why does that thing go that fast lol
If all you are doing is swinging, most of them will swing that fast. Most of the time you are boom up and/or crowd and curl while swinging, and those all rob some of the hydraulics.
And no, I would not be doing that, and I've been operating excavators for 22 years:)

Is there an x-ray view of that mechanism by chance?

Think big ring gear at the bottom of the house, and a big hydraulic motor.

Yes I can hear the whine in the video. Funny thing about the feature of full rotation as I've never seen it used outside of horseplay. ;)

Wow you must have stayed on through a six pack! :D
