didn't masuka end up witnessing Dexter (but just a masked man)
run out of Dexter's house with Rita's daughter? isn't that how masuka first had an assumption that dexter was the killer?

Who does what to Astor? The only thing I remember with kid abuse was Astors friend, and it was her step dad that beat her up? Then dexter beat the shit out of him cleverly.

i believe so. how masuka showed up there was creepy as hell though. they had him do some buffalo bill dance like in silence of the lambs just before he drove over there.

The point of the Dexter story, is that the character evolves, and meeting rita changed him and he starts to feel more "human" in later seasons. But maybe you like one-dimensional characters who act exactly the same in every episode.

Unfortunately most of the season finales are known to me cuz people talk about them all the time. Cant avoid them. Only on S5E2 right now but I already know most of the big surprises.

Also, does anybody think its odd that people injected with knockout drugs go down in 1 second or less?
I just watched Dexter get shot in the belly with a dart and he blacked out in two whole seconds. WTF? If your blood really pumped to your brain that fast your head would explode.
