Met a girl. Got her number. Agreed to call her on Sunday so that we can go hang out. Proceeded to promptly lose my cell phone Friday night, along with her number stored in it.


Me = worst luck ever when it comes to women.
 
Call your cell phone and see if someone picked it up. You might have to pay a small reward or something.

Tried that it goes straight into voicemail, as if the cell phone is turned off.
 
Did you have your phone turned on? would there be any battery life left in it by now? CPA gave you good advice... failing that you could call the service provider to see if they can locate the phone. If oyu have it set to E911 ONLY instead of LOCATION&E911 then it will not work.
