You could be right and I certainly hope so. But I see AMD (as a company)in big debt and having production problems (holding up their 133/266 FSB Tbirds).

Then we hear that KT133A boards are being held up because AMD "forgot to provide Via with their 1.5GHz spec". And so far, the only PC-OEM partner of AMD who is building/selling DDR PCs is Micron (no surprise there)!

So please forgive me if I'm a little frustrated and skeptical at this point.

Re: your remark "All the AMD 760 boards I have seen have either 2 or 3 DDR slots", you may be interested to learn that MSI's MS-6341 AMD-761 board has 4 DDR DIMM slots!

As far as "best solutions" go - to my eyes, the EP-8KTA3 appears to be the best KT133A SDRAM board design while the MS-6341 is the best DDR board design.
