On the other side of the spectrum, I've found that phone speakers are actually pretty decent at high frequencies. Mine will go up to about 16khz, though it's more feint at that frequency I pretty much have to put it close to my ear to hear it. Though that could also be because I'm getting old and it's on the edge of my hearing. :p

15khz is louder and the sweet spot that seems to really get the cat rilled up. lol Reminds me of CRTs actually. When you slightly adjust it sounds like someone switching channels on a CRT that is on mute.
