This 32" 720p HDTV okay for a gaming pc?

It will look pretty horrible over S-Video, but there's nothing stopping it from working. That's also fairly low res for a screen that is going to be right in front of you. Look at it this way, people bemoan the Macbook Pro 15" for still only being 1440x900 and that being too low. You'd be putting a screen over twice its size with less resolution at a similar viewing distance. Don't get me wrong, having a big screen is nice, but your workable resolution will not be pleasant imo.

Got a TV in your kitchen yet? 😛

Yep, grabbed a DVI-HDMI cable... mucho better...

It will let me set the resolution clear up to 1920x1080 but the text is blurring anyway to fix this?

No, running a panel at a non-native resolution will likely result in the blurry effect you're seeing.

Buy a TV with a higher native resolution. 🙂
