Only third time to post today.

I must say, that is an improvement!

Sick and tired of office crap. Someone in the ofcice always complaining about something.

Yeah, I'd also probably get sick of people complaining about my year-old rotting balogna sandwiches that I keep in the office fridge and loaded weapons stashed around my cubicle.

So you found a job where nobody complains!

Bwahaha! 😀

You've just gone from "What happened to my spreadsheet?!" to "Where's my fucking arm?!"

Enjoy your honeymoon, but you probably should have been doing manual labor your entire career.

Yep, especially when you work with women. Office chatter is the worse, and women love to talk gossip.

Tell a girl she looks nice and you will probably get hit with a harassment lawsuit. On the tugboat it's only you and the fish!

Congrats. Always nice when you accomplish goals in life. Even if said goals are working manual labor on a tugboat. I had a semi office job once and swear it was the worst thing ever.

wait.. u r working on a Tug boat?
as in jumping from tugboat to main boat with a rope to tie them together?

or some other dangerous accident prone maneuver?

OP neglected to show the front of that boat,..

How come they call them tugboats and not, more accurately, shoveboats?

^^ TH, ask this very question to your most experienced coworker. Report results here.

Because they do more than push. We had a barge on a sandbar that took three boats to get it off. In all we had over two thouand horsepower between the three boats pulling on the side of the barge.

A man is truly in his element when he is out at sea. Glad to see your embraced your inner, or more appropriately, your *inland* seaman.

one thing about his job it will weed out the weak.

Being away from the family is emotionally draining.

30 on/30 off? Have some friends that work on the barges. That life isn't the best for a wife and kids. I can't think of any of them that aren't divorced.

it is not just a matter of complaining it's also a lack of appreciation passing the buck laziness gossiping backstabbing everything else that goes work in an office.

then there is the matter of job satisfaction of when you leave at the end of the day you feel like you have accomplished something.

and to be perfectly honest I would rather work around a bunch of men than a bunch of gossiping women any day of the week

No one's ever complained about my loaded weapons around the office more than once.

On an unrelated note, Texashiker, I'd like to contract you to dump some heavy rugs into the Gulf of Mexico at your earliest opportunity.
