Thinkpad T23 2647 or 2648

Can anyone tell me how to determine which model of T23 i have? What is the difference between the 2647 and the 2648 models? I want to upgrade the memory. I went to the Crucial site and it lists both models and both models use different memory modules. At the Mushkin site only 1 module was listed and didn't care which model of T23 I have.

I want to get it right the first time.

mine uses pc133. If you have a T23, it will use pc133. Luckily enough mine came with 1GB of ram so no need for upgrading here!

isn't there a label underneath the unit with the P/N & S/N?

Or if the label is "missing", the IBM software should be able to identify the machine.
