I use a T series myself, but it's more a personal prefrence thing. Just avoid the I series, as they are underpowered junk with poor expansion options and a crappy video card.

I've got an X22 for my work PC and I love it. With the media slice, it's got a DVD and a big HD. By itself, it weighs next to nothing, and is great for those days I need to lug it around to a bunch of wiring closets (especially with the built-in 802.11b) It's got one of the longest battery lives I've seen. I've got only two complaints: the speaker volume sucks, even through the headphone jack, and there's no !@#% Windows key (and remapping the left ctrl causes half the keyboard to periodically stop responding).
Still, if I had to give it up, I'd buy one for myself. It's no multimedia powerhouse, but for something you have to carry a lot, it rocks.
