Thinkpad 600e Bios

I feel completely idiotic having to ask this question but, how do I get into the BIOS for an IBM Thinkpad 600e. I've tried tapping Delete, F2, F1 and escape. I've tried playing the F keys like a piano but for the life of me all I get is Windows 98se to boot.

it should be F1 when u turn on your system Try and HOLD that key and see what happens. just do it immediatly after u power it on... also u could try and hold many various keys to see if you get a
"Keyboard Key Stuck Error" which can pause the bios screen to allow access to the bios.

If you HOLD the F1 key down while powering on you will get the 'SUPERVISOR PASSWORD' prompt.

Pressing F1 at the IBM logo screen will get you into the BIOS if there is no POWER-ON PASSWORD (POP) set.
