Thinking of switching to Chrome, need to solve some peeves first.

I'll go right to the point.

1. When displaying images larger than the window, firefox let's you toggle between displaying the image at full size with scroll bars or scale it to fit the window. Chrome seems to have the same functionality except that when I want to watch the scaled down image it still displays larger than window size, therefore it's useless for me, or is it supposed to be like this? Is there a way to make it like ff?

2. Is there a way to disable the downloaded files showing at the bottom of the screen? clicking on the x every time I download something is annoying and leaving it there robs me of screen real estate.

there is no way to remove the header/footer and margin size on chrome5 - slated for chrome 6 later this year. kills most business use

Chrome is a memory hoggin POS, it constantly uses 2 gigs of memory of my system.

Something's definitely not right there. I have six tabs open right now (including one flash video) and it's using ~500 kB - 2 MB. Do you have a ton of addons installed?

naw, just leave a couple atot windows open for 12 hours or so, even doing nothing in the background...it'll sometimes climb to 500mbs for an atot tab. its not kewl at all.
