I hope that they do get mushy. I'll probably crush them anyway. It's to use as soup filler for my evening snack. Crackers and bread get mushy too.

When winter comes, I start eating more nice warm soup, particularly pea soup, cream of celery/mushroom and chicken noodle soup.:)

If that's the case, you should be good to go. I think the flavor would go well with soup. I like my crackers to start fairly crisp before they get soggy. Oyster crackers are my favorite for soup.
