For real, doesnt the Army get paid more and get more benefits for doing the same job nowadays?

Anyone with a degree and goes through OCS comes out as a 2nd Lt, unless they are doctors or lawyers which I think are Captains or ^ but then again they go through a special 4 week course, not the full OCS. No sense in enlisting when you can be a 2nd Lt.
