After I graudate, Im thinking of going into actuarial work. This is pretty wierd for me since I have my bachelors in Electrical Engineering (UCLA) and I'm currently working on my masters in EE (USC) as well. Although my masters is in EE, I am structuring it around actuarial work. Im taking probability, statistics, estimation theory, stochastic processes, chaos and fractals, etc. I'm planning on taking my first actuarial exam in the spring and hopefully i can find a relevant internship for the summer. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
