Does anyone here have T-mobile? If so what do you think about the service? And do you consider it a 'girlie' company?

depends on where you live. works great for me in the bay area. get a togo phone and check out how good the service is.

have a great family plan for 700 anytime mins for about $100 per month for 5 lines after taxes. plus just added unlimited text for 9.99 for all lines. great customer service.

Thanks that was really helpful

What do you want me to do?
Answer if a cell phone company is a girly company?

I helped you a lot. You get what you pay for. T-mobile is the cheapest. That answers your question on everything.

Works fine in NYC. Depends on where you are. They're way behind on highspeed technologies though. :|

Dropped calls and crappy signal all over the place in Cleveland. I signed up and cancelled within three days, and they still tried to charge me for a month of usage and a termination fee (it was well within the buyers remorse period). Suck.

Verizon is consistantly rated highest by Consumer Reports. In the last survey they did, only one carrier was rated higher, and that was USCellular (rated higher that Verizon in the Chicago area).

I don't know why you'd be concerned if it was a "girlie" company - it's freaking wireless. No one cares who your wireless company is, and if your friends are going to give you crap because you went with Company X over Company Y, maybe you should get new friends.

For me T-Mobile has the best coverage, far better than Verizon or Cingular (I'm in MD). Their prepaid service is also one of the best deals.

It really depends on your area, if you go with them, go around to the places that you'll frequent & check out the signal during the remorse period if they don't do what you want, look elsewhere.

I considered looking for another family plan, but I can't match what I've got.

49.95
500 minutes
Free weeeknds & nights
Unlimited calls to other T-Mobile users
2 phones

Am considering adding the $9.99 unlimited text messages that covers the family plans.

I've had very good experiences with customer service, only other carrier I've had is AT&T, they were miserable for customer service.

I had a fairly new Nokia & couldn't get them (AT&T) to tell me where to send it after they replaced it, & they wouldn't refund my deposit so I sent it certified return reciept to the CEO, got my refund rather quickly, quicker than the reciept showed up:D

I just recently switched to t-mobile and I don't regret it one bit. I'm mainly a city person so coverage isnt a big deal for me. I've never had any billing issues, unlike the last provider who always couldn't get their computers to recognize offpeak minutes versus regular ones. Their customer service is always great and it's gsm,, so if you find yourself a quad band phone it can work nearly anywhere.
