I am simply running out of room with my mid tower lian li, and I have always wanted a reverse (upsidedown) ATX case. I know lian li will make me a proud owner, but does anyone have any thoughts on this case before I go for it?

Also- where else besides Perfomance-Pc's can I get this case with a clear side panel?

Ive used the V2100 and PC-201 which are identical interiors and different fronts/setups

Both cases are a joy to work with, though I cant imagine how you can be running out of room in your case unless you need more than like 6 HDD's or are watercooling something fierce. They are very very big though which is my only warning. Not only tall but deep as well.

The reason I am running out of room right now is because I am using a PC-60. I have a 8800gts in there, a sound card, tv tuner card, 3 harddrives, 2 opt. drives, a fan controller, 4 case fans, a psu w/ tons of connectors, and homemade watercooling on the cpu.

Things are a bit tight.

When you say Very very big, are you talking so big it looks abnormal next to common cases, such as a p180 or something?

yeah, its big compared to normal. It is definitely intended for a server (My 2 uses of these style cases had EATX boards and 9/13 Hard Drives). The V1000 is already a big case to begin with, and the V2000 is longer and has a double height hard drive area. Look up the measurements and then grab a yard stick to get an idea of how much taller/longer it is.

You might want to look into the Lian-Li PC-V1200. It is essentially an extra deep PC-V1000, which also might be plenty good for your needs. The PC-101 is another good option too.

The V1200 still gives you the 6 hard drive spots down in the bottom (more than you need), longer depth to handle all your tuner cards and whatnot.

The main difference between the inside of the V1200 and V2000 = 12 drives down bottom instead of 6, The main compartments are the exact same size. Since you only have 3 hard drives the V1200 fits you better overall.

Essentially the inverted ATX seperate HDD chamber case breakdown is as follows:

Mid Length and Mid Height
PC-101, V1000,V1100

Full Length and Mid Height
V1200

Full Length and Full height
V2000,V2100,PC-201

I think you can probably gain some space with one of the Mid/Mid's, but Full/Mid sounds more like what you want. Just dont say I didnt warn you that its long, measuring it out is your best bet. The full/full is definitely overkill. Also keep in mind, these are the premium Lian-Li cases, even the mid/mid is bigger than typical mid towers

Thanks for all the info! Ill take some measurements and see how big they are. I think your right that a full/mid case would be my best bet.
