If you are going to have to take a carseat in and out of the back seat then go with a sedan. My uncle had a 95 EX coupe (now mine) and his wife always had a hard time getting the carseat in and out of the car. My parents have a 98 LX sedan and it still looks sporty for a 4-door. Both get 30+ MPG on the highway and I usually get better than that (I have a manual). Also, the interior of the two is comparalble in terms of quality. I think it was the 96 model that had the major body changes. The pre-96 model have smaller headlights and a little different styling. The 96 and newer models have larger headlights and differnt nose than the older models. If I was in your postition I would go with a 4 door LX or EX (do they make an EX 4 door? ). To make it look more sporty you may want to get aluminum wheels and a spoiler. That is what my parents 98 LX sedan has and it really looks sharp. It is white with black trim.

Thanks for the info, I think i will have to go check out each model before I choose between a coupe or a sedan. I really prefer the looks of the coupe, so I will check to see if I can easily get the carseat in and out, if not then i will consider the sedan. I am really interested in that black HX coupe I found for only 5500.00 I think I will call that guy for more info.

By the way is there any way to tell what date a car was posted on autotrader.com

I know nothing about Hondas, but I do about car seats :) You really don't want to even consider a two door. Even if you like the look, and are willing top put up with the hassles of getting jr in and out, the wife won't. She will constantly remind you of what a pain in the a$$ it is dealing with a two door and a baby.

been there, done that. Learn from my mistakes ;)

I like civics for normal cars, but if you rice it out i will hunt you down and break your spoiler the size of a 747 wing in half.

Well this will be my car, so if my girlfriend complains about the car seat then I will just tell her to take her car, but I have already talk with her about it and she doesn't care.

I will not be ricing out a civic if I get one. The biggest spolier I would put on it is the standard honda civic spolier
