If you are going to have to take a carseat in and out of the back seat then go with a sedan. My uncle had a 95 EX coupe (now mine) and his wife always had a hard time getting the carseat in and out of the car. My parents have a 98 LX sedan and it still looks sporty for a 4-door. Both get 30+ MPG on the highway and I usually get better than that (I have a manual). Also, the interior of the two is comparalble in terms of quality. I think it was the 96 model that had the major body changes. The pre-96 model have smaller headlights and a little different styling. The 96 and newer models have larger headlights and differnt nose than the older models. If I was in your postition I would go with a 4 door LX or EX (do they make an EX 4 door? ). To make it look more sporty you may want to get aluminum wheels and a spoiler. That is what my parents 98 LX sedan has and it really looks sharp. It is white with black trim.
