Got to shoot my friend's Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag revolver with a 10.5" barrel a couple weeks ago. Holy crap, it's loud even with noise-canceling ear protection. The long barrel helped with targeting and recoil but that beast is heavy. I wouldn't want a barrel that long myself but it was fun to shoot once.

I am proud to say I used to shoot a tight group 25 yards with very little practice. Single or double action. If I can practice first with a 100 round ammo then I can form a group. This is for a 357 S&W. I wish I have unlimited ammo like the leo or armed services. I would be a damned good shooter.

25yds? i'd barely hit the wide side of a barnyard at that distance :( even my 10-15yd game isn't that strong :\ (i enjoy shooting but only go to the range every few months)
