thinking of buying a 6800 le

i dont know much about the 6800 le but for the price 235.00 on newegg is hard to beat.
does albatron make a good vidcard .

yuck. Sorry, man, but the 6600GT owns the 6800LE, and costs about the same. The 6800LE is barely faster than the 5900XT. On the other hand, the 6600GT is faster than the 9800XT and 5950 Ultra, and almost as fast as the 6800NU. The main problem is pixel fillrate - 6800LE has 325MHz x 8 pipes, while the 6600GT has 500MHz x 8 pipes, probably around a 70% advantage for the 6600GT. On the other hand, the 6800LE has a much smaller advantage in memory bandwidth, yeah it has a 256-bit memory interface, but the memory is a hell of a lot slower than the 6600GTs. The 6800LE is mainly an OEM part, since it can't really compete on price/performance next to other cards in its retail price range.
