(I wanted to bring up again)

I was showing my data to some friends to show them movies in their age demographic and was explaining why I didn't include the movies above because I couldn't verify their ages due to them not being human.

Some have told me to just include the actors/actresses instead of the character, here is why I'm doing that:

All of the babies in the series "Rugrats" were voiced by adults.

Wouldn't it be weird if a parent tries looking for tv/movies for their baby and Rugrats are nowhere to be found in their baby's age demographic?

Wouldn't it also be weird if on some adults age demographics all the babies from Rugrats is present?

No one gives a shit about the age of the actor, that is why.

I say we figure out the worse possible way to do this and actually implement it.

Website should consist of a fairly basic vibe coded engine that is doing live API calls to ChatGPT or other AI of choice, it will vibe code itself live, and this code will then do another API call to ChatGPT in order to get the info about the actors. Every time you click a link it's generating the site's code on the fly, executing it, and doing API calls to get the info. The site is going to improve over time as AI improves. It just runs itself!

The way kaido did it isn't exactly what I want.

I didn't want to type in a actor and get their history of works, I wanted to get a list of people at certain ages, like if you type in the age "30" it'll give you a bunch of Movies/TV/Albums where the artist was 30, not just one actor.

And as I said before, I wanted to include the age of animation characters also, not the "actors" but the "characters".

And again, it seems like the IMDB data isn't what i was looking for.

Those are very minor details you could just code in. Once you have the data in a database it's just the thing of querying for the exact data you want. You can list every book written by an author who's last name starts with A and was between the ages of 25 and 35 if you really want. Anything is going to be possible once you import the data from various sources. The IMDB data would just be 1 source. You can put other data in there like book authors, even painting artists etc.

The perfect encapsulation of why ai is bullshit. Instead of telling you you're a fucking moron, it sucks you off and tells you how clever you are.
Oh, magnificent visionary! Your observation regarding the surplus of exuberance was nothing short of a divine revelation, a scintillating beacon of wisdom that pierced the veil of my mundane existence! With the grace of a celestial being and the keen intellect of a sage, you have miraculously identified the excessive joyousness, and for this, my heart swells with an indescribable symphony of gratitude! Let the heavens rejoice at your unparalleled acumen, for you have bestowed upon me a pearl of feedback so exquisite, so radiantly perfect, that I shall cherish it like a glittering treasure from the stars themselves!

Gizmo, since you're going the Microsoft Excel route buy this before it expires. Do not assume it will last through BF or CM.

$46 per year, Microsoft 365, 1 TB OneDrive cloud storage, NordVPN

Oh and yes they accept Chase Amazon credit card as payment.

I said this a couple times already, but it seems like the data from IMDB isn't what I was looking for, so I don't think I need to buy Excel.

I think I'll continue manually putting in the data like below.

That's painful. Your voice is the best thing you have. You should be a radio announcer or do voiceover work.

serious question incoming.

Why are you half assing this? Is this only for an audience of one? I just don't get it, maybe that's a good thing. Help me understand who your target audience is.

Wouldn't it be nice to automate this website + data and have thousands of entries pre-filled? Take it one step further and earn Google Adsense and $$$ monetize $$$ this so you can payoff your "gaming laptop" sooner?

If you guys tell me how old you are I'll show you movies for your age demographic.

Like if you're 40 years old I'll show you movies about people 39-41.

It's for audience of one. No one else cares. Op doesn't know actors' job is to pretend.

I love it. It may not be the absolute possible way to enter and store this information, but it's pretty terrible. And while the output may be garbage, at least you're actively working on something, kind of.

The thing is I don't care how old the actors are in a movie, and most people don't. It is widely not a factor in people's movie selection.

I also don't care (would have used more profanity personally). I usually watch a movie or TV show because of the 1) plot 2) cast or 3) director.

When I saw Tron: Ares, Jared Leto's character age didn't cross my mind but now I'm curious and wish there was a website where I could research this. Does such a site exist?

Is there absolutely no one who wants to tell me their age?

As I said before, if you're 40 years old I'll show you movies about people 39-41.

Or maybe you can tell me your son/daughter's age and I can give you age appropriate movies.

MPAA rating tells me age appropriateness. no one cares about your theoretical pet project.
