Thinking about upgrading cpu worth it?

Right now I have a asus premium 2gb ram 4200 cpu and dual 7900gts. I don't like switching in and out of sli to play games (got dual monitors) so I plan on getting a new video card when they come out, in a couple months. So I was wondering if I would notice a big performance increase if I upgraded my cpu to a fx-60? With the newer video cards I don't know if my current cpu would be a bottleneck or not. What do you guys think?
