Thinking about upgrade

Hi, I am planning to purchase a new computer, however I do not know what hardware will run current and future games at least on medium settings.

It has Radeon HD7790 and I am not sure whether it is good graphic card or not.

Do you have any other possible option in Latvia? If you could show us another option from a different vendor, it would give us an idea as far as the value you are getting.

That has a CPU that will surf and email forever, but gaming it will leave something to be desired in a few years.

Also that one includes a soundcard which is unnecessary.


I tried to customize a Dell but they do not sell direct over there......

The Radeon 7790 is a pretty good graphics card. Eurogamer just wrote an article comparing the Radeon R7 260X to the new games consoles, and it looks like it should handle games ported from the new consoles quite well: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-r7-260x-vs-next-gen-console (The 260X is basically a 7790 with a different name and a marginally faster clockspeed).

Agreed on the card...I was just hoping he could get a little more CPU and ditch the soundcard.....
