I don't know why you'd bother waiting in line, go buy it, ok, but waiting in line? The gunmetal grey is really nice I must admit, though I doubt there's a horde of PS3 lovers who were just waiting for MGS4.

Regardless, I hope you enjoy it once you get it🙂.

The 80 GB bundle is the plain old piano black 80 GB that they discontinued a few months ago. The 40 GB bundle is gunmetal and is a limited release. I have no idea why the 80 GBs are selling for more than MSRP on eBay. It's not like the launch of a brand new console where supply is constricted. Sony has had months to stockpile enough for the MGS4 launch. People [edit: eBayers] are really stupid.

or they're successful and you're the stupid one for waiting in line before game releases.

Considering how much sony loses on a PS3, stockpiling is not an option.

Yeah, I'm sure that in June Sony is just going to sell the same number of consoles that they've been selling all year. They'll just squander the release of one of the first system-selling games by not building enough consoles to meet demand. Sony may be losing money on the console, but they still want to sell every one they possibly can.

Wait a second... gunmetal is the 40Gb. Wow, I gotta keep up with my PS3 releases better.

I was talking about the BUYERS too. The buyers are the successful ones. The sellers (most) are trying to make a hard buck.

my recent wiifit customers:

park ave, NY
Palm Beach, Fl
San Jose, CA
Boston, MA
Savannah, GA

do you think those people want to (or need to) fight 250lb walmart moms and 25 year old nerds, 6am at walmart?

You don't need to justify your purchases to your girlfriend. Unless she has a ring on her finger, it's your money.

Gotta go with mugs on this one. Until you're married your GF shouldn't really have an input into what you buy unless you're asking her for it.

But anyway, I wouldn't waste time sitting in line. I'm sure they won't be scarce. It's not going to be like the Wii unless Sony does it on purpose.

once my brother bought a scooter instead of taking his g/f on a trip to the Caribbean. She dumped him the next day.
