Thinking about making a move to Win2000, what should I be aware of?

Might want to check on drivers for your scanner and digi cam, also you need to ditch the natural keyboard and get the regular internet keyboard pro

Besides that, 256 ram should be good as a start

Looks fine....just don't do an upgrade install, make a clean install.

Application compatibility... Hardware compatibility issues have pretty much been made nonexistent.

Use dual boot and keep Win98, it'll come in handy for the occasional BSOD!!

The install will be slightly more detail because it also go thru the hard disk partition/format process.

OK, thanks I'll try to install it on a new hard drive first and if I screw up, I still have my Windows 98 intact on my currect drive

BTW, I'm getting another 256MB RAM, so that should make Windows 200 fly.
