I've had about 75 lbs of ammunition delivered to work before.

Guy came in with his hand cart, put it on the mailroom floor and left after the receptionist signed for it. She called me, and me and my buddies carried it down to our cars.

Me wonders if such an order would raise any red flags nowadays somewhere on some FBI super computer.

Ammunition is pretty heavy(depending on caliber and type of course. It's ~900 rounds of 7.62x54 180grain Russian ammo) so 75lbs isn't THAT much, i mean you're not going to start a revolution with it or pull off a terrorist act. In the states that still support gun rights(like VA), it wouldn't be a big deal at all.

I mean you can burn 2000 rounds in a day or two at the shooting range when you have 30 rounds per mag.

edit: oh wait he's in CA. Yeah. FPMITAP then.

Two guys carried in my 110-lb plasma TV for me. Then again, it was the Best Buy delivery service. It was great that they even took it out of the box and set it on the TV stand for me.

I'm pretty sure that neither one hated me for ordering something that required them to do their jobs.

With ammo prices going up up up, my stocking up has doubled all of my other investments combined in growth. I could easily double my money right now if I sold my stock, but then I'd have to buy again anyway whenever I the range.

And my coworkers thought I was crazy to buy 25 boxes of 550 federal from walmart when they were still under 8 bucks a box.

Oh, and it was 75lbs of 9mm.
