Thinking about going SLI

I am thinking about going SLI. I need to pick up a new MB for that though. I don't want to break the bank but I want a MB that would at least maintain my q6600 OC of 3.0 GHz. Would this do the job? Any suggestions?

doubling up on your current vid card? what card?

750i is an ok platform... nb gets a bit hot without active cooling, i have a evga ftw @ 450 fsb with a q8200 and 2 8800gt's... gets 16500 3d06's... pretty good game rig... but 1 good 4890 does about the same...

but it's often just as well to sell your existing card and buy a newer, faster single card...

I'd be putting in another EVGA 55nm gtx260 Superclocked

750i's arent bad. i see some EVGA 780i (some are FTW) for like $100 shipped. some might be floating around here. try to see if you can get a hold of one of those.

What resolution are you gaming at? Unless you're at like 1920X1080 or something like that, just stick with one GTX260.

1680x1050 but I wish games were a bit more smoother.
