If I didn't already own a Compaq Presario 1500T laptop I would seriously consider buying that IBM. However the Compaq has a few things going for it, 15.0" SXGA display which is beautiful, touchpad which I prefer but I just use an optical mouse, built in WiFi adapter into the edge of the screen (got that free), TWO USB 2.0 ports, ONE FireWire port and it only cost me $837 after jumping through a few hoops and I got free luggage as well.
