I could go on but there is no way to achieve a "classy" look on a car with 20" rims. It simply looks like a thug's ride.

So tell me friend. What type of rims (aside from factory of course) would make my ride look classy in your eyes.

SSR Comps or GT-2/3/7 are nice and sporty.

Oz Superturismo are pretty classy, maybe Michelangelo 8s. You might be able to pull off a OZ Leonardo if you have a very high end luxury sedan like a LS430 or S600, something with a big command presence but elegant and luxurious at the same time.

weak... I have 17" alloys.. I want Bling. I want to drive down the street and people to recognize the realness.
This is a joke right? Am I detecting some sarcasam?

Remember, the truly rice and set dont flaunt it. Thats why the $150k S600 is so stealth wealth. You know its something special but it dosent have to be bling to bring attention. Only those that believe they need to overcompensatate and have something to prove buy bling.

Stick with the stock diameter and find a rim that looks nice. Maybe one inch larger in diameter. At least pick a tire that keeps the overall diameter of the tire itself the same. A lot of rims today simply look low class with their design. The ones you posted a link too are too busy. A clean design makes accentuates the lines of the car whereas a busy desing, especially with jagged edges and lots of fake bolts, looks trashy. I am very particular about the rims I put on a car because they are a very important component in the looks of the car. You can take a car with great body lines and a great overall look and ruin if with the wrong rims. If you put the ones you linked in the OP you will make the car look worse than stock rims do.

20" rims on that car will look stupid and make you look like a huge douchebag. If that's the look you're going for, then snatch them babies up yo!

Ya.. I was joking about the realness 😛

I checked out the superturismo and michaelangelos.. they look nice.. you think 19's would be decent?

the leonardos are hiedous.. Those have to be the ugliest rims I have ever layed eyes on.. the fat chrome center and short spokes. I dunno.. I just find those really ugly and retarded looking imo..

Go HERE and enter your make model and year. Choose wheels, and you'll be able to choose the proper car color, then see approx. what different wheels will look like on your car. While it's not perfect, it does give you a pretty good idea...

ya.. I've been on tirerack... great site btw.

So 20's would be bad for the alignment and rideability?

What about 19's?

Well you need a bigger car to put those on. I've seen some LS430s with Michaelangelos and it looks good but you need a wheel with a theme. OZ wheels are nice since you can get either lower medium or premium priced wheels. 19s are decent for medium sized cars, but then I run 17" wheels on my Sc300 which is a medium sized sports coupe(Gunmetal Supra MK4 Twin Turbo Wheels with lexus centercaps) and I think it looks good.

i checked out that site but dammm... the 19's there go from anywhere from 200$/each to $800/each (for similar looking rims).. Why is BBS and OZ so expensive? Other rims look almost identical at like 1/3 of the price...

I am not too familiar about the size/offset requirements for tires.

Do you guys think that that is a decent 20" rim for the price?

Why? Is your goal to make it slower and handle/brake worse?

Seriously, I have a friend who could get me a set of Infiniti 19" wheels off a brand new M35 but those rims were heavy as hell (I have a 2003 Maxima SE). Not to mention that tires would set me back over a grand easily every time I needed tires.

No thanks, I'll stick with my stock 17" wheels.

Listen to this guy, he knows what he's talking about.

The rims should compliment the car, not overshadow it.

Something simple and clean like this (I'd pick silver over chrome). Or If you like it a bit more flashy, this.

Please, keep it down to 18". They don't have to be huge to look good.

Brand name, the difference between driving a Kia and a Rolls Royce. Also there are slight build quality variations but its not that big.
