I have an ATI Radeon 8500LE which has a digital input and an analog input. I probably would not be buying a LCD, but another 19" CRT. Where would I be able to find the converter for this setup? Thanks! :)

if your 8500LE didn't come with the converter, there is a good chance that it doesn't have the hardware to support 2 CRTs and you'd be out of luck. most 8500 cards that did have both RAMDACs came with the DVI-Analog connector to hook up the 2nd CRT.

but i suppose it is still worth a shot... you could always call ATi and order one from them, it'd probably only be a few dollars.

Although the Radeon 8500 LE lacks Digital Flat Panel monitor support, it still retains Hydravision, which is ATi's patent dual-display support using two 400 MHz RAMDACs.

from here

So it looks like you're in luck!

My brothers MSI GF4 440 (8x) has both a standard monitor connector and a DVI connector. It came packaged with a DVI to (standard) analog converter that allows him to use two standard monitors on his card.

How's the VGA quality? I tried the Asus version of the card and IMO it was completely unusable. VGA 2D quality was terrible.

I personally haven't really used it much but he seems very happy with it.
