my job isn't going that well... I'm considering leaving.. taking out mad loans $$$ and just going to UGA rather than this local college (kennesaw state..) I've been at for 30 hours now

what do you think

I'm 30 with a wife 3 kids and a new mortgage, and I'm considering the same thing (well not GA, but I am considering dropping it all and going back to school).

The moral of the story:

If you're not satisfied now, figure out what you need to do in your life to make yourself satisfied or else you won't ever be. If that's bugging out, then by all means, bug out.

I like my school, but I HATE my job.

Basically... It will be fairly difficult for me to find a well paying job being that I don't have a degree... I just don't know if I want to commit to the loans involved with an expensive school

Although I couldn't stand the show overall, I did catch an episode of Drew Carey in passing with a humorous line about that:

"You know, there is a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY. They meet at the BAR!"

Seriously, who doesn't think about dropping everything and trying something new? Pretty sure that's everybody.

I don't see why more single people don't go through with it...

Go for it.

I'm doing the same thing now. Gradded with a BA in psych, and I cant get a job that I actually would want to do. Going back to school starting in a week for bio. Woohoo!

I realized that im dissatisfied right now. If I'm dont at least TRY to do something else, while I still can, I know I'm going to regret it before. If it doesnt work out, at least I already have a degree. 😛

Go for it.

It's one of those "don't appreciate what you've got until you lose it" things. The freedom that comes from being relatively young, energetic, and single is rather wasted on those who ARE young, energetic, and single.

Oh, plus, all the adults of the world constantly telling teenagers all the way through school all the things they can't do, all the ways they can fail, how they SHOULD fit into society, and with most teens having parents as a poor role model of "leading fulfilled lives". Kinda leaves them hesitant at the point where they need to make that decision.

Do it.

I'll quit my job, and we can be roomies. I mean, I'll be in it for Grad. School, but I'll join ya!

I wish I could. Believe me, I've been trying to move to ATLANTA for such a long time now.

Ugh. I can't find a job in ATL. I'll probably end up there for Grad. School in a few years anyways!
