x1950xt ... or even the Pro

it is "right" for your low resolution

if you don't mind upgrading again ... in a year or so ;)

1950XT would be perfect..... It can handle current games at 1600x1200 no problem with good settings....

at your res it would last more than a year that people like to stab

I'd do X1900XT 512MB + $100 for it (all in).

Like I said before.......

So, 8800GTS 640 for $345 after rebate

and

Open Box X1900XT 512MB for $270

Looks like a $75 difference to me against a brand new card and I am offering $100 plus my card.

So please explain how it is a lowball?

Thanks,
KT

Edit: GTS is actually cheaper than I first thought.

Edit2: Here is a 256MB card for the same price, just as a comparison

We'll see if he takes your generous offer. ;) I see you've glossed over the fact the X1900XT is an obsolete product and isn't worth anywhere near $270 in any condition.

seriously, I have never seen anyone downgrade

Heh, i just dont play game much if at all anymore.

ahahahha i know EXACTLY what possition your going though.

When i sold my QX, i had the option of loading my 7900GT's in SLI or the 8800GTX.

I sold it with the 8800GTX because 1. it sold for more, and 2. i really didnt see the need of anything more powerful then 2 x 7900GT on 700mhz. remember they OC very nicely :D

I would just pick up a 7950GT 512meg as they are fairly cheap now, and oc it. You wont see much of a performance hit going that way. An X1950 is also a good pick due to its superior quality. But, im also into estetics, and nothing looks sexier then a x-fire or SLI setup. :D

You'll only end up losing more money IMO - keep with the card you have, just because at this moment, you don't feel like gaming much doesn;t mean to say you won't see something in a couple of months that really gets your attention and gets you back gaming again.

Nothing but low-ballers there these days. Ebay is a better option.

Why do you think i ignored all the offers in this thread? lol. :p if i do sell it , it will go on ebay.
