Well bascially I have no car at the moment:p And I want something fun to drive and can be made quick. So Im thinking of grabbing a S14 240SX and then ripping the engine out and putting in a Sr20det engine. And also some other things like tires/suspension..etc. Im planning on having from 7-10k to do this with. thoughts on it? Think it can be done decently easy in terms of auto work?

Then all you need to do is play exhaust sounds with the windows down all the time.

gregshin... sold it for a G35 Coupe.

and if you had to ask about doing something like that, i think you're better of getting a 240 and sticking with the KA

I think about this sometimes too, although I'd either start with a 1st Gen Miata, 2nd gen MR2, or 92-95 Civic hatch or Del Sol... What stops me is I wouldn't get back any of the money I put into mods when I resell the car...if I can find anyone willing to buy my modded car anyway...

For the money I'd lose (Approx $10k), I'd much rather just buy a nicer car, own it for 5 years, and lose that $10k in depreciation.
