Obviously I already have a US Passport but it seems like I still have to prove that I can maintain myself for a period of time that I choose to stay there.

I tried looking on their website but failed to find a specific figure/scale..can anyone help me out with that?

Also, what the general ATOT consensus on New Zealand in general and how much money/time is necessary to sightsee most of the place?

I've always wanted to live there but the requirements for a work visa seem to be quite strict and I'm still 2 years short of a college degree(not that I wouldn't mind gtfoing).

Get yourself a working holiday visa. I think Oz offers that...not sure if NZL does. I'd like to go to Australia sometime before I am 30.

So close to joining the merchant marines in my early 20s. No bills, no tie downs at the time.........Sometimes I wonder what could have been.

Go for it.

Fuck yeah, do it man. They have hobbits and shit over there. It's like a magical green field where everyone is always happy and crime doesn't exist.

high demand as in? American? field specialty? not following you here, woogie.

I was about to make this post. I'm really hoping he can expand on it. The only problem is that I'm still short of a degree by two years. If i'm GTFOing, it's gotta be either pronto or never.

I can't stand this BS anymore.

Go for it. It crossed my mind as well. People here just like to rip on NZ because they are jealous. Its what jealous people do.

What BS are you talking about?

I'm not natively from the US and my mind is about to overload into shit. I despise the culture in general and I just simply can't deal with the lifestyle.

There is just too much bullshit in general and even though I've been "successful" (Considering my age) since I've gotten here...it just doesn't feel right.

Honestly, I just want somewhere small where I feel I'm not being fucked down the shoulder every 2 seconds.

I want to have a good job, live a decent and quite life somewhere where I feel more connected to the planet we live in. #inb4atotfagtrolls

I see. Well, the US is a pretty big country, and there is plenty of cultural variation if you look for it here. I'm not sure moving half way around the world is your answer.

Where are you from originally? Either way, I say go for it. If NZ has what you seek, do it
