As for gold, I say agin i wouldnt buy it right now, In MY opinion (For whatever thats wroth. based on past few weeks, about Jack Shyte) gold is on the way down now. Around 3-50 I'll be interested. Until then, I'm buying a 1/10 oz Panda for teh coolness factor.

When you say "the rest are 99.99% pure," what are you referring to. Other U.S. gold coins than the American Gold Eagle, or gold coins from other countries, or what?

Coins from other countries.

I wonder what the percentages are on some of the older American gold coins?

There is some law regarding reporting purchases of foreign gold coins versus domestic, I will have to look it up again.
