Yeah, true, but seriously, when would you need more than 10 rounds per mag?

When would you need *any* rounds? It's hard to say, but I always carry at least 31 on me (16 loaded plus a spare 15rd mag, 46rds at work--2x spare mags).

Acutally it's not really a perferred side arm choice of the SEALS...technically SOCOM chose the USP. Currently right now you have other SOCOM branches choosing the 1911 browning design platform as their sidearm of choice. I believe actually the sig p229 is the offical sidearm of the SEALS. Inside skinny is that after all the money wasted testing and choosing the USP the 1911 performs just as well as the USP did.

Now back to the question...thats not a bad price...hopefully everything is working...but for that price i would get a 1911.

I'm pretty sure they use the same mags. Just buy some new high capacity mags for it. My Glock 17 has 4 pre-ban mags. They didn't change the gun at all after the ban though, just the magazines.

Hi-Cap mags come in handy, for me, at the shooting range. I have a few 17 rnd. mags for my 9mm. Since the springs are so stiff the extra time I have not filling the clip back up are welcome.

These are great guns, I have been looking to get the 45 myself. Click, Click Boom! You would pay about 850 or 900 new for that piece.

If you need more than 10 shots of a .45ACP you have some serious problems. 1 you can't shoot the broadside of a Nimitz Class aircraft carrier. or 2) your in some very very deep crap and you need more than a pistol to dig your way out.

BTW you the Assault Weapon ban has expired so you should be able to find some hi cap mags now(Unless your in the Peoples Republic of CA) but still if you need more than 10 shots of .45APC per mag you need something like a AK, P90 or even a Spaz12

P90's own can....

I don't personally love the USP, but that's a good price. Definitely try before you buy, particularly if it's a full-size model - those things are friggin' huge.

I just got a USP 9mm for range shooting. I chose the 9mm version because the recoil isnt as bad and the ammo is way cheaper than .40 or .45 ammo.

Do they have something like a blue-book for used guns. I have two I'd like to sell. I'll probably sell them to a local shop which means I won't get as much as I could privately.
