Its a USP 45 for he is selling to me for $450 which seems like a good deal.
Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts or opinion on this pistol?

There's a reason why this pistol is a weapon of choice for SeALs. Go for it.

That's crazy. I bought a USP-40 new for $525.00 or so, the .45 shouldn't be much more. Especially considering that I could have picked up the USP-40 for even cheaper if I had been willing to wait.

Sounds like a nice deal. And btw, you can get new higher capacity mags for it now. ;)

ShotgunSteven is correct, $800-$850 is highway robbery.

Very nice weapon. I have the USP Compact .45 and love it.

That's a pretty good price as long as he has taken care of it.

I want to get the compact .40 or .45, but I want to sell my full-sized USP-40 first. Do you use yours for concealed carry?

If you need more than 10 shots of a .45ACP you have some serious problems. 1 you can't shoot the broadside of a Nimitz Class aircraft carrier. or 2) your in some very very deep crap and you need more than a pistol to dig your way out.

BTW you the Assault Weapon ban has expired so you should be able to find some hi cap mags now(Unless your in the Peoples Republic of CA) but still if you need more than 10 shots of .45APC per mag you need something like a AK, P90 or even a Spaz12

I saw a glock .45 being sold at gunbroker.com (or smth like that - looks like eBay, but for guns) for $500 with BuyItNow
Guy has a solid history of selling guns and has his own store.
Is that a good price for a new Glock?

Yes, I use mine for concealed carry. If you are going to do that you should know that the .40 has a slightly smaller frame but the .45 is plenty compact enough.

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Yeah, true, but seriously, when would you need more than 10 rounds per mag?(You can carry extra mags you know) besides I have not known of any larger mags then 12 for .45ACP, Unless your using a Tompson SMG or a UMP .45

Seriously, when will you need to carry a gun? *shrug*
