Think your fishtank is special? does it have a highway?

Neat. And the Cichlids are cool, too 🙂 I'd hate to have that thing spring a leak, though. And that much water must be a PITA to filter, not to mention keeping the temp consistent.

I wonder if the fish use it, or if he put them in it?

It must be hard to maintain an appropriate temperature in those passageways.

Neat idea. Could probably build your own with some large tubing like Antisocial said. Much less work and far less expensive. Just need a way to suck all the air out from the top but with tubing you could bend it down to get it out and then put it back up.

I thought about doing this, but I couldn't figure out how to avoid problems in the event of air getting into the tube - all the water would run back into the 2 aquariums, and it looks like (especially with a tube like that guy has) you could be talking about 10-20 gallons of water...? Also I was looking for clear 3-4" hard plastic tubing and bends which seemed tough to find...

Looks kewl, but potential leaks come to mind, as well as cleaning! That would look super cool, too with some EL lighting... Oooh! Ahhhh!
