So, some of the guys on mac-forums.com say that this looks like a perfectly legitimate site. My advice was to stay away. What do you think?
http://www.macmacsales.com/index.htm

Here are my reasons for being suspicious.

- Their domain name was registered in December 2005; although they claim to have been in business for 8 years.
- The site looks like a 5th grader designed it.
- They don't sell Apple Care.
- They say that they have been in business for 8 years, but they do not allow visits to their operation (except in special circumstances), and their website is only a month old.
- They do not have a secure order form.
- Their "order form" doesn't ask for credit card information, but they state elsewhere that they accept credit cards.
- Their domain registration and mailing address are in two different states. Also, their technical contact is in another country.
- They claim to have been in business for 8 years, but all of their "press releases" are less than two months old. (You can google for these).
- One part of their site claims that your order will be shipped in one to two business days, and another section says this, "How long will my computer take to get delivered?
It depends. All systems will be shipped from our warehouse as soon as they become available. We sometimes have to wait for products due to backorder, but you will be notified of your
status at time of order. If the estimated ship date changes, you will be notified."
- Also, there appears to be no record of them with the Better Business Bureau of South East Florida or ResellerRatings.com
- Oh, and you know the saying, "If it looks to good to be true, then..."

Really? All of the google hits that I got for macmacsales were generated by press releases that they issued this month.

Maybe they are legit, but I wouldn't send them a dime.
